Toolbar Project Examples
To test a demo you must:
- Download the project archive,
- Uncompress the project,
- Import the project in Eclipse by clicking on File > Import > General > Existing Projects into Workspace,
- And then pick the project folder.

Showcasing a toolbar that gets its content from an XML feed (local or remote) that contains <searchenginelist> tag which populates a list of search engines.

App / Widget Demo
This is the toolbar project for a demo app or widget. The app is contained in the file: content\utorrent.js. This app or widget connects to the BitTorrent (or uTorrent) client and displays the list of current torrents from the toolbar. For more information on the API used to interact with the BitTorrent client, please check out: http://www.utorrent.com/developers. This app code demonstrates the following concepts:
- How to create an app that interacts with a local application
- How to use a HTTP request to populate the UI of the app or widget
- How to display a dedicated tab for the app or widget in the toolbar options dialog
- How to capture and save preferences for an app or widget
